🥫 Buckaroo Bargain Starts Next Week – Help Us Reach 10,000 Items!🥫

Dear HRES Families,

Our Buckaroo Bargain kicks off next week, and we need your help to support those in need! This community service project is led by our AIG students, and they have set a big goal – to collect 10,000 items for the Harrisburg Crisis Assistance Ministry Food Pantry! Last year, HRES donated an incredible 8,016 items, and we know we can do even more this year!

From March 31st - April 4th, students can bring in non-perishable food and toiletry items to donate. Each donated item earns them one Buckaroo, which can be used to shop at the Buckaroo Bargain Store on April 10th. The class with the highest total of donated items will receive an additional 2 Buckaroos per student!

Items currently needed include:

• Baked beans
• Canned fruit
• Canned meat
• Cereal
• Dish soap
• Jelly
• Laundry detergent
• Pasta (any type, except macaroni and cheese)
• Pasta sauce
• Peanut butter
• Pinto beans
• Potatoes (canned or instant)
• Rice
• Salt & pepper
• Shampoo
• Soup
