Exciting Opportunity: Tae Kwon Do Lessons Coming to HRES!

Dear HRES Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to share that Tiger Kim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do Center will be visiting HRES to teach PE classes from January 20–23, 2026.

During this time, any student who is scheduled to have PE will have the opportunity to participate in a free Tae Kwon Do lesson as part of their regular PE class. These lessons will focus on basic Tae Kwon Do skills while promoting fitness, discipline, confidence, and respect.

If your student enjoys the PE class experience, there will be an optional 4-day after-school Tae Kwon Do club offered from January 26–29, 2026. Following the club, on Saturday (January 31, 2026), an event will be held at Tiger Kim’s gym where students can demonstrate for their parents all the skills they learned throughout the week.

The cost to participate in the after-school club and Saturday event is $20, and all proceeds go directly back into HRES’s PE funds. These funds will be used to update PE equipment, support Field Day expenses, and more.

No special equipment or prior experience is needed. Students should simply come dressed in their regular PE attire and ready to participate. A permission slip with additional details will be sent home closer to the club start date.
